Joanna Nunley is the music director at PUMC as well as a math teacher at Ben Davis High School. She has taught for twelve years and enjoys helping students discover their strengths and encouraging them to reach their full potential. She has been involved in music ministry at PUMC since 2008 and enjoys working with all those involved. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Indianapolis and has masters degrees in music from Butler University and educational leadership from UIndy. Her biggest passion in life is playing the piano. She has played since she was five years old and couldn’t imagine life without it. Pastor William, an ordained Elder in the Indiana Conference of the United Methodist church, was appointed to Pittsboro U.M.C. in the summer of 2018. He has faithfully served several Indiana congregations since 2006. Pastor William strives to be a true servant leader through his leadership at the church and beyond. He is a community leader through his involvement with local schools, parks, Boy Scouts of America, and the Pittsboro Police Department. He is a hard worker, has a great amount of enthusiasm for ministry, and his passion for Jesus is simply contagious. He married his high school sweetheart and they have two beautiful children. For fun, he enjoys running, hiking, bicycling, racquetball, disc golf, traveling, and living out an active life.

Julie has been employed at PUMC since 1993; during this time she has had the privilege to minister with 6 kind-hearted and hard-working pastors from the Indiana Conference. Julie, her husband, and two children have been members of PUMC for many years. Her children attended preschool, mission trips, and many other volunteer activities. They were also very active in the PUMC youth group. Julie enjoy singing in the church choir, camping with the family, and loves gardening at home.
