Shawna Ades is the Interim Director of the PUMC Preschool, she previously was a Lead Teacher before accepting the Interim position. Shawna has also had the privilege of working as a Teacher and Special Education Teacher within Early Childhood programs at Zionsville Community Schools and M.S.D. of Wayne Township in Indianapolis.

Outside of preschool, Shawna enjoys hiking, baking, and spending time with her family. Her children, Brad (12), Molly (9), and Sam (6), keep very busy with a schedule full of sporting events and extracurricular activities. Shawna and her husband, Derek, recently celebrated their 15 year wedding anniversary. Shawna is extremely excited for this new opportunity and looks forward to growing the PUMC Preschool program by focusing on high-quality early learning opportunities and developmentally-appropriate practices for the whole child.
