Pastor William, an ordained Elder in the Indiana Conference of the United Methodist church, was appointed to Pittsboro U.M.C. in the summer of 2018. He has faithfully served several Indiana congregations since 2006. Pastor William strives to be a true servant leader through his leadership at the church and beyond. He is a community leader through his involvement with local schools, parks, Boy Scouts of America, and the Pittsboro Police Department. He is a hard worker, has a great amount of enthusiasm for ministry, and his passion for Jesus is simply contagious. He married his high school sweetheart and they have two beautiful children. For fun, he enjoys running, hiking, bicycling, racquetball, disc golf, traveling, and living out an active life.

Julie has been employed at PUMC since 1993; during this time she has had the privilege to minister with 6 kind-hearted and hard-working pastors from the Indiana Conference. Julie, her husband, and two children have been members of PUMC for many years. Her children attended preschool, mission trips, and many other volunteer activities. They were also very active in the PUMC youth group. Julie enjoy singing in the church choir, camping with the family, and loves gardening at home.

Joanna Nunley is the music director at PUMC as well as a math teacher at Ben Davis High School. She has taught for twelve years and enjoys helping students discover their strengths and encouraging them to reach their full potential. She has been involved in music ministry at PUMC since 2008 and enjoys working with all those involved. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Indianapolis and has masters degrees in music from Butler University and educational leadership from UIndy. Her biggest passion in life is playing the piano. She has played since she was five years old and couldn’t imagine life without it. Julie Stanley is the Director of PUMC Preschool. She is excited to be joining this wonderful program and working alongside some amazing teachers! Julie has her BA in Child Development with a Specialization in Child Health from Purdue University. She worked as a Developmental Therapist with First Steps for seven years, and a Paraprofessional at NWHSC for 5 years. She also works as the Aquatics Director at Tri-West High School, Assistant High School Swim Coach, and an Age Group Coach for Tri West Swim Club. Her and her husband, Scott, have been married for 25 years. They have four children, three dogs and two cats. She enjoys making memories with her family camping, and spending time at the Beach.
Michelle started at PUMC Preschool in 2020. She currently lives in Lebanon, IN with her husband, four children, and 3 cats. She has worked with children for 15 years in many different settings. Michelle loves teaching and introducing children to new activities. When not teaching at school she enjoys spending time with her family, camping, kayaking, and crafting.
Ashley started working at PUMC Preschool in 2021. Ashley has a degree from Indiana University South Bend in Elementary Education. She has over 6 years experience working in the classroom setting. Ashley lives in Pittsboro with her husband, daughter, and cat. She wanted to be a teacher at a very young age. Ashley enjoys seeing the light bulbs go off in students heads when they “get it”. She enjoys relaxing at home, watching movies, and spending time with family in her spare time.
